Invent-Her is Access to Entrepreneurship for Women
Collab's Invent-Her platform is an opportunity for New York City-based female inventors and entrepreneurs to gain access, opportunity and support to start, grow or expand their business. As part of NYCEDC and SecondMuse's Futureworks Shops program, Collab has created Invent-Her to support women by providing six months of studio space and mentorship in Brooklyn to the winning entry.
Our next Pitch Party is September 12th. All of the finalists have been notified and we are excited to see their presentations.
One winner will be selected from the pitch night competition and given the space, support, resources and mentoring to help build a thriving business.
Winners will receive:
Six months membership/desk space at Collab
10K in support services for prototyping and more
Access to potential investors
Mentoring and startup support
Prior experience starting, operating or working in a business is not a prerequisite. We are looking for a female, or a group of females with an idea that embodies the greatest impact. We are looking for inventive ideas and entrepreneurs with the passion, wit and will to succeed.

To qualify, you must:
Live in one of the five boroughs
Your business or idea for a business must be in one of the five boroughs, or launched in one of the five boroughs
Hope to solve, or want to solve, a substantive problem
